Ray Mooney

 

Ray is the Deputy Director for the KlaasKids Regional Search Operations Center located in Pensacola, Florida (RSOC – Pensacola). The RSOC responds nationally to cases from federal, state and local law enforcement agencies and cases from the KlaasKids Foundation - National Search Center for Missing & Trafficked Children.

Ray’s K9 experience and education over 11 years includes operational certifications in three (3) K9 disciplines; Man Trailing, Human Remains Detection and Area Search. Ray instructs nationally in Human Remains Detection and Man Trailing and has K9 certifications with NAPWDA, NNDDA, NSDA and NNCDS. Ray is currently operational with two (2), HRD-K9’s in both land and water (Delilah – Dutch Shepherd and Meira – Belgian Collie) and one  Man Trailing K9 (Junior - Bloodhound).

Ray’s SAR experience includes Child Abduction Emergent Searches across the U.S., Search Management, Search Planning, Search Operations, Case Management and deploying on missing persons and criminal cases assisting law enforcement and families of the missing. Ray is the current SAR Commander for the NW Florida, FDLE Child Abduction Response Team (CART). He holds certifications in WFR/WFA, SARTECH-I, ICS 100-200-300-700-800-809 and has completed the National Search and Rescue School
